It has long been known that men and women think in an entirely different way. Women love to chat… and men don’t get much chance but to listen! Women are also a lot more sensitive in general and tend to run through a check list in their minds in order to size you up and make sure they are happy to progress to the next date… or even the sack!

Don’t worry fellas, he’s probably gay!
So here goes (in no particular order):
Is he a laugh? – Very important if you want to make the right impression from the outset. If you bore them to tears then you may as well forget it.
Is he looking at my boobs? – We men can’t help this, especially when we feel hungry! Try and resist and make it as subtle as possible if you are going to have a good old looky.
Does he have any qualities of my ex? – Yes, they really think about this sort of thing. Just be yourself and don’t mould around how she wants you to be!
Is he tight fisted? – On a first date the worst thing you can do is expect the lady to pay. At least offer if not sort the bill out yourself. Very important to most women as they all love a bit of chivalry.
Is he trendy? – We all get very embarrassed if our date looks like a tramp or a prostitute say. Make sure you dress to impress and fit in with the environment of the date location.

A massive 2400 singles in Hong Kong have signed up for speed dating events being held on Valentines Day. Speed dating shot to the top of the popularity stakes when it was introduced back in 2002.

A source from the local newspaper Ming Pao says that every year, there are 65,000 young people taking part in the speed dating parties held by 30 agencies, bringing the industry a yearly income of 20 million HKD. Speed dating companies are making a small fortune hooking people up and amongst their services are styling lessons focussed on improving style and dress sense, to increase the chance of daters finding love.
The best company to talk to that I found:

Sexy Meg Ryan has sparked rumours she is romantically attached to Friends star Matt Perry after being spotted together recently. They were first seen dining together in a swanky bar in LA called the Brentwood restaurant.

A source told US Week that Matthew arrived at Meg’s home on Saturday night: “[Meg] had the gates open, just waiting for him.” Matthew is believed to have broken up with previous girlfriend actress Lizzy Caplan last month.
A Guinea Pig named Sooty had a night to remember after escaping from his pen and tunnelling into a cage of 24 females. After shagging all 24 of them he was recently became the proud father of 43 offspring.

The ‘Tom Jones’ of Guinea Pigs!
Staff at Little Friend’s Farm at Pontypridd, South Whales, have now secured Sooty’s pen—and began to look for homes for all the latest Guinea Pigs.
His owner Carol Freehan, 42, said: “I’m sure alot of men will be looking at little Sooty with envy. We know that he had gone missing after wriggling through the bars of his cage. We looked for him everywhere but never thought of checking the pen where we keep 24 females. We did a head count and found 25 guinea pigs. Sooty was fast asleep in the corner. He was absolutely shattered. We put him back in his pen and he slept for two days.”
God, please let me come back as a male Guinea Pig!!!
Dutch TV channel is looking for deformed contestants to take part in a new reality dating show. This is probably the weirdest thing I have ever written about!
Producers are planning to launch the show at the end of Feb and call it ‘Love at Second Sight’!
The producers are appealing for volunteers, saying: ‘Do you have a visible serious handicap and are you looking for a partner?’
They have suggested those lacking one or both eyes, or suffering severe burns or scars, might come forward.
Contestants would write in with their details, hoping viewers show an interest in dating.
A spokesman said: “The programme is a platform for people with such problems to share experiences and feelings in a positive way with the rest of the Netherlands and to show that they are absolutely not pitiful.
“The main aim of the programme is to remove prejudice about these people, to create more acceptance and respect and, of course, to find the love of their lives.” The show was originally going to be called ‘Monster Love’.
