Some clever fellows at dateormate.com have developed a web application that allows visitors the chance to ask their questions to a number of potential dates without the awkward silences and terrible jokes.

The Dateormate.com virtual speed dating room give users the chance to meet eight potential dates for three minutes of chat before the room deactivates.  If a member sparks someone’s interest, they’re added to a personalised would-like-to-date list so, outside the room, they can pick up where they left off.

Users can create free profiles for text chatting: audio and webcam features are available for premium members. As long as one party is a premium member, the full service is permitted between users.

Fancy your chances… give it a go here.
