I appreciate some people get obsessive about stardom and their image, but this is just ridiculous to say the least!

She was recently quoted as saying that her persona is a happy one, and whilst dating it’s just impossible to remain happy when there is so much pressure on her to be the ‘happy one’ on the panel of judges!
Surely she’s meeting all the wrong fellas!

Studies carried out in the USA have shown that attractive people have distinct advantages in our society and get on far better in life.
Take a look at these true examples as to how attractive people benefit more from life:
• Attractive children are more popular, both with classmates and teachers. Teachers give higher evaluations to the work of attractive children and have higher expectations of them (which has been shown to improve performance).
• Attractive applicants have a better chance of getting jobs, and of receiving higher salaries. (one US study found that taller men earned around £300 per inch more than shorter executives.)
• In court, attractive people are found guilty less often. When found guilty, they receive less severe sentences.

There are some exceptions to the rule however!

An interesting development in the Gay Dating scene.

According to the Sunshine Project, the Pentagon was building a “gay bomb” that would make enemy troops instantly irresistable to each other. The theory being that they would be busy trying to bed their comrades when American troops advanced onto their positions. Brings a new dimension to “love not war”.
Edward Hammond of the Sunshine Project said, “The Ohio Air Force lab proposed that a bomb be developed that contained a chemical that would cause enemy soldiers to become gay, and to have their units break down because all their soldiers became irresistibly attractive to one another. The notion was that a chemical that would probably be pleasant in the human body in low quantities could be identified, and by virtue of either breathing or having their skin exposed to this chemical, the notion was that soldiers would become gay.”
The Pentagon have apparently confirmed that this idea was being considered, but quickly dismissed it in 1994.
Here’s an interesting niche dating site, itsjustcoffee.com attracts a load of people (in the States) who are into arts and culture, are socially conscious and down to earth. The singles that meet through it are said to be eclectic, optimists and a lot of fun to hang out with.

So what’s the drill?
Simply go onto the site and sign up for free. Enter all your personal details and then get to work looking for your braniac in the database they hold. Unfortunately this service is not available here in the UK yet, but only in the States.
Arrange to go for a coffee… and then chat till your brain is sore with chatting!
Let’s hope we see something like this in the UK soon, we nerds need some stimulating dates!
