If you want to buy a gift for your date then why not read this article first.

Whatever you decide to buy for your partner remember that it’s not about how expensive it is. Some dates may want this, but if they do then they probably aren’t into you as much as your wallet!

Dating gifts are all about the thought. In fact a small budget is advisable if you are going to buy something. You want to purchase something that has sentimental value, shows how much you care and leaves a lasting memory of the day and of dates to come.

Cheap flowers that last a couple of days don’t look good on you!

There are loads of ides here, but you must also be aware that there is also a load of crap too! An idea may be to see how the date goes and if it is clear there is some chemistry look to purchase that reminds you of the day, e.g. a toy you won at a fair or a balloon, a stick of rock if you go to the beach etc.

If you try to buy someone’s heart you normally either end up skint or regretting it because it doesn’t last. Think about something that will remind them firmly of you and the day you’ve had.

I stumbled across a great little gift idea recently, a website offering engraving services onto a bottle of champagne. It’s even got an original name – engravedchampers.com!

image

You can even try before you buy and email them 10-20 words you want on the bottle and they will send a link back with an image showing what your engraved bottle will look like.

They can even engrave images onto the bottle so you can make it really romantic and add a picture of your mug on it!

It’s not a new idea, in fact the company behind the concept has been running for 10 years.

Yournovel.com was the original brainchild of a husband and wife team in the States. To date the pair have written 14 out of the current 19 novels. The concept is simple, you give them the names of the people you want in the book and they replace all the original names for theirs, then print it and post it back to you.

Some of their novels are:

“Treasure Seekers”

“Heart of the Keys”

“Rome: Diamonds, Danger and Desire”

“Season’s Greeting, Season’s Love”

Prices:
Paperback                       $49.99
Paperback with photos $74.95
Hardback                       $94.95
Hardback with photos $119.95

A fantastic idea, and a fantastic and original pressie for that special person.
