10 ways to impress your new girlfriend’s parents

Getting them on your side is always a challenge. We always put far too much pressure on ourselves to do so, but if they are honest, they’d say they were happy if their daughter was happy. BUT this won’t stop us from the creeping will it fellas.

Here are 10 perfect ways to creep to your girlfriends parents and demonstrate that you are a suitable enough guy to sleep in the same room as her when you sleep over at theirs.
1. A good creep keeps everyone’s wine glasses full, beware though as you may actually get them so pissed that you ends up sleeping with the mum.

2. Make them dinner, a nice roast is always easy but looks a lot harder so will gain creep points.

3. Tell her mum that she keeps an amazing house whilst looking beautiful, and be sure to smile in a completely false way.

4. Lose the baggies and borrow your dad’s cords for the night. You’ll look swell.

5. Read the newspaper the day before you meet them, and wax lyrical about current affairs – you’ll look half intelligent at least.

6. Tell the old man that his daughter is the most magnificent woman you have ever met – they love all that sort of crap (daddy’s girl and all that).

7. Get them laughing… tell a joke or something… but just get that smile out of them.

8. When questioned about what you do, change the conversation about what you want to do, which is ‘to just ensure that the person you end up with remains happy’. They’ll buy it trust me.

9. Get on granny’s good side… If granny is there, concentrate efforts on sweet talking her. It’s loads easier and the folks will see your sensitive side straight away.

10. Get on a level with Dad. The biggest hurdle is her dad, if you can crack that one he’ll be happy to know that you are nailing his daughter in the spare room. Start questioning him about all things he likes and get him relaxed… then go bond with him by playing with drills or something.
