Asking someone out through email.

Never do this! A bold statement I know.

Asking someone out via email is a cowardly thing to do, it says ‘I don’t have the guts to face you’ and if that is so what hope have you got of actually dating them!

It isn’t easy asking anyone out for fear of rejection, but if you ask them face to face then and feel positive about yourself then you have a far better chance of getting a ‘yes’ for two reasons, firstly you are presenting yourself as confident in yourself (and therefore more attractive) and secondly you are giving them less chance to say ‘NO’.

Email is also a bad form of communication in terms of it has no tone of voice and therefore people can and will read into it as they will, an example being sarcasm doesn’t carry very well online.

Push your chest out (man or woman) and go do it face to face, they’ll respect you more!
