Classic or modern dating techniques? - you decide
I am often asked the question which is better ‘modern forms of getting a date (i.e. online, mobile etc) or the good old chat up line in a bar’?
Each has their advantages and it all depends upon your confidence and situation…...
Firstly remember this, if the opportunity arises when you are out and about and you instantly fall for someone, don’t do nothing! You only get one chance in this life and I advise you take it. Get your number to that person and express an interest or you’ll be kicking yourself for a long time.
Modern forms of dating are sometimes too planned and almost a little desperate for some people. It almost takes the fun out of meeting someone, however at least you can refine a list of suitable matches and you normally get to make sure they don’t look like Frankenstein.
There is something special about the sporadic chat up line or number passing to a potential partner face to face – mystery drives our imagination and feelings of excitement tend to be more common than meeting someone virtually.
You need to have confidence to go up to a potential partner, the feeling once you have done it is wonderful – you feel empowered and I firmly recommend you try it. What’s the worst that can happen? Rejection should be water off a ducks back.
