Kids take some looking after and attention. Finding time to date with kids is just an added problem, especially if the father/mother is not about and you get no time off at all. You are not alone! This is such a common dilemma ad one that can be seen as a positive in the right light.
There are loads of ways to meet prospective partners even with your child, these are just a few ideas:
Coffee Mornings – Single mums especially love to meet with their chums and have coffee, it’s just one of those things. By doing this and casually introducing the fact you are single and looking for a partner the other ladies will soon want to be the first to hook you up with their friends.
School functions – Single parenthood is more common now than it has ever been. By going to as many school functions as you can and supporting your child there is a good chance you will meet a prospective date in exactly the same position and with similar interests.
Down the gym – A good work out is good for the soul. Although we may be sweaty and look like crap, this is a great place to meet a potential partner. Mums and dads make it a regular haunt and that person going for it on the treadmill next to you may be your perfect match – strike up a conversation.
Online – There are a fair few websites popping up now especially for single parents that are a fantastic place to meet people in exactly the same position as you. Start with this one – www.datingforparents.com.
