Dating in a country pub or urban club?

So you got a date, excellent.  There is now the decision of the most suitable venue.  There are loads of venues and places to choose, however two of the most popular are the urban club or country pub, and they both have their advantages.

I have listed some of the main considerations below; choose the best venue by understanding what each has to offer:

Country Pub
Picture it, log fire (in winter), real ales and a generally more relaxed atmosphere.

FOR
More relaxed atmosphere
Quiet – don’t need to shout
Friendlier atmosphere and certainly a more natural environment to work your magic
Unlikely you will get distracted by another potential partner – can focus on your date

Urban Club
It may be your only choice if you are city folk.  Clubs are a great place to date, and here are some of their advantages over Country Pubs:

FOR
Chance to really interact with date (dance / sign / whatever you wanna do!)
Good opportunity to discuss common interest of music
Less focus on the intensity of the situation, unlikely you will get lost for conversation

From experience, and at my tender age of 30, I have found the country pub to be the best venue.  The club is too full on for a date for me.  I recommend a club on the 2nd or 3rd date.
