It’s a well known fact that women are from Mars and men are from Venus, there’s even been a book published on the subject. The only difference now is that some bright young sparks at the University of Bath have proven that men are the shallower sex, and go for looks as a priority when looking for a perfect partner. Women on the other hand tend to go for the tone of voice; they even find it a turn on.

According to the survey almost 50% of the women questioned said that a way a man speaks is crucial for gauging whether or not they may be a suitable partner. The scientists also found that, on an average people take just 15.5 seconds to decide on someone’s suitability as a partner.
The research was commissioned by internet dating service Match.com.
Fellas, don’t go taking up smoking 50 fags a night to give yourself a better chance of scoring… there are other ways!
