Increase online dating success – ‘because I’m worth it’!

Advertising is genius! So are the ‘tag lines’ or ‘strap lines’ that go with it. Look at some of the best of these and you will immediately know who they are:

‘Just do it’!
‘Vorsprung durch technic’
‘It’s Miller Time’
‘Finger lickin’ good’

These brands have ridden off the success of their straplines, because they explain the experience of those brands in a short sharp sentence, demonstrating personality and flair. So what’s to stop you from doing the same?

Dating sites often encourage you to include such a phrase for the reason that they know it will enhance your chances of success. There is a danger to get too clever though, and putting people off because of this.

So, how do you come up with a tagline? Not an easy question and one that could keep you stumped for months.

Remember to keep it:

• Simple
• Extension of your personality (descriptive)
• Humorous

If you think of it, dating IS advertising… but you are the product.

Things to think about:

• Who you are looking to attract
• Who you are
• What makes you so different from the rest of them

Do not:
• Pinch someone else’s
• Make it dull and boring
• Be too filthy!

So, what should a tagline include? Well, inject some humour and/or possibly something that you are passionate about, e.g. ‘Your flexible friend’

You may even consider a famous quote or line… or even a brand’s tagline, but the golden rule is to relate it to YOU!

Final thought… get creative and the results will be outstanding!
