Just how useful is a good woman in life?

Extremely! But only if she is ‘good’ for YOU. Good being the operative word. If she’s bad for you, you will no doubt recognise this but it always amazes me just how many blokes put up with crap women (and vice versa I’ll quickly add)!

A ‘good woman’ is one that is supportive and loving. To a man, supportiveness is key. You’ve all heard the saying ‘behind every successful man is a strong woman’, it’s so true. Us blokes aren’t built of steel and only fear kryptonite, pressure is on us to succeed in life (however that may be), and therefore in order to achieve this we need a great deal of support and encouragement from the one we love – whatever any bloke says!

Ways to support a man and have his undivided attention:

Manage him – women are better managers, it’s proven. Give him a diary for Xmas and make sure he uses it. Reminding him about functions at least 2 weeks in advance, and keep reminding him!

Contribute – Don’t do all the taking even if you don’t work. Make him feel like you are a team and working towards the same goals even if this means he works for £ and you work around the house.

Make him feel manly – Ask him to ‘open that jar’ or lift that sofa. A man loves to feel useful.

Let him have his say – Even if his ideas are crap, let him have his say and then do the opposite if you need to.

Compliment him – A man loves to be told if he looks good (even more so than a woman!).
