All of us ladies at some point in our lives have been on a first date. A key question we ask ourselves is ... What do I wear?

First Date Fashion Tips for Girls:

The fact is, no matter what you choose or no matter how long you spend looking beautiful within a few seconds of meeting your date, they will subconsciously or consciously make an instant judgement about your appearance. This decision may not even be based on what your wearing but the overall vibe that person receives.

1. First and foremost I would recommend being comfortable in your chosen ‘first date’ outfit.

2. Choose an outfit that you feel good in and also something that people have complimented you on before. This shows that people have taken notice of you in it and is a good sign because they have said so.

3. Don’t go for anything too revealing, ‘less is more’ and on your first date you usually want to find out if there is instant attraction and also whether your character and personalities are compatible. Your date could get distracted if your wearing revealing attire and therefore might not look further than your bodily assets.

4. Stay away from overpowering make-up and keep it as natural as you can. Keep from painting your lips and nails red, they’re both obvious signs that you are interested and is not the right signal to give off on a ‘first date’. Your date wants to see you, for you and doesn’t want to be scared off if you look like Cruella de Ville.

5. Never try and shop for a new outfit on the day of your date, it’ll stress you out and cause unnecessary emotions.
