Lying about your job to get laid.

This article is dedicated to all those overweight Tom Cruise wannabe fighter pilots that crawl the pubs and clubs looking for a victim that will believe him! At this rate the world should never be short of fighter pilots and firemen!

Take another look n the mirror pal!!!

Whilst the thought of someone having to make up a profession is a funny one, just think of those poor dumbsters who believe it! A recent unofficial poll or 1000 fellas in the UK found that the majority of men have at least once told a woman he was chatting up a lie about his job.

Top 10 ‘wannabe’ professions:
Fighter pilot
Fireman
Banker
Soldier (back from Iraq)
City trader
Entrepreneur
Bear hunter
Semi-pro footballer
Gynaecologist
Lawyer

A psychologist recently explained this phenomenon; “The truth is, women force men to lie. The majority of women out there won’t even bother to have a conversation with a man unless he has the right job, owns a house in a geographically desirable area, and earns a large salary.”

Does it actually work though?
Rarely… but it is a growing problem women are finding themselves dealing with when looking for a man. However, with booze culture growing amongst women in the UK, they are becoming less fussy as they struggle to even hold their alcopop anyway!

The strange thing is that asking someone what they do is almost always the first line of any start up conversation, and always will be. We all work (well most of us) and therefore we know it is going to be an open ended question that could lead to more… men are just trying to give themselves the best chance of eking the conversation out, whilst living that boyhood fantasy!

Ask yourself this though boys… if they really are that bothered by your job title, are they really worth chatting to?

I once told a woman I was a Cosmonaught… because I was Russian to get into her space. It sounded better in my head.
