Online Dating mistakes – The most common mistakes we make.
1 – A crap photo or no photo at all.
Ask yourself, ‘would I contact anyone I can’t see to know whether or not you fancy them?’ The answer is always nope.
2 – Sending a message, but with a boring subject.
The first move is the most important… be original and try to get that ‘lucky smile’ out of them, then you are 80% there.
3 – You forget to respond…
People don’t hang around on dating sites, there are twice as many men online dating than women (fact) so go make that move and stop playing hard to get.
4 – Getting heavy too early on.
It’s the best possible way to freak someone out so don’t do it. Just hold back your emotions and ‘play it cool trig’. They will let you know when you can show affection.
5 – Pushing the boundaries.
By this I mean that you may get a little naughty too early on your emails. Relax a little and try to present yourself as funny haha and not funny peculiar.
6 – You play it too cool.
You could actually make her think that you don’t like them if you play it too cool. Be honest and upfront and let them know that there is an element of attraction for you.
7 – Enrol in too many sites.
Not only will it cost you a fortune BUT you will have to work twice as hard to focus on finding the right person for you… too much choice and all that.
8 – You choose the wrong site.
With thousands out there how do you know if you have got the right one? Make sure you get a free trial period before you buy and chat to some of the current members to see how they find it.
9 – You expect it to come to you.
Unfortunately it doesn’t…. unless you are a hottie of course. You have to work at it so have a game plan and stay focussed to it.
