Sex & Dating: Making it Work

New relationships are full of excitement and exploration of bodies and souls. You can’t help but think of that person all day and night, it’s natural!
But what happens when the novelty wares off and you get a little bored. Either you move on (normally because you are not ready) OR if you have grown to love them you should work to make it feel special again.
There are some great ways to get it back on track and that ember back into a flame:

Get away – I’m talking about getting away from the boring grind of every day. Surprise them with a romantic weekend in the country…. Or the city. There’s nothing better than changing the environment, there is too much around your everyday environment to remind you of the boring side of life. Even if you have no budget – go camping… just get out the house!

Dancing can help stir the deepest sexual feelings we have!

Get spontaneous – Change the routine. It is too easy to get stuck into a routine of making love in the same place at the same time, try something new. Grab your partner and just present a little spontaneity, do it on the kitchen table if need be.

Find a new activity – Get out the house and start enjoying getting fit together or dancing or something. This will help you escape the bind and start laughing and smiling at each other again. It also gives you both a focus to take away any bad feelings (if there are any).

Counselling. Make this a last resort, it’s expensive and to be honest, glamorised!

All relationships get into a routine, it is just the way it goes. BUT it’s how hard you work at it that makes the difference. Get up off your ass and enjoy your life with the one you love. If you don’t love them get out, life is too short and why be miserable for the rest of it.
