Chivalry is NOT dead!

Men, if you are looking to make that extra special impression, I suggest you look back to the days of Knights and princesses, the years of chivalry….

Chivalry is not dead! It seems like those days are long gone, but what is apparent is that ladies go wild for it (well most do anyway).  It differentiates you from other blokes. Women really do appreciate it and remember it, especially on a first date!

Here are the top 10 ways you can really impress that even King Arthur would be proud of:

1. When walking along a street with your female companion, make sure you stand on the road side of the pavement.  This is a show of safety and concern got your partner.

2. When in a restaurant be sure to pull the chair out for the lady and then help her shuffle into a comfortable position.

3. Always open the car door for a lady if you are driving anywhere.

4. If you are together on a packed train and you are fortunate enough to have a seat, offer the seat to another lady or elderly person.

5. Always open a door for a lady and insist they go first (unless you see them as feeling difficult about it)

6. Show a kindness and respect to animals (my mum’s advice!)

7. Be affectionate around babies and children, ladies judge you as a potential father without even knowing it.

8. If you like the lady and she has indicated she needs to do some ‘blokey’ jobs around the house, offer assistance.  You then have an excuse to see her again!

9. Always pay for the first date.

10. Present yourself well.  The better you feel about the way you look, the more confident you will be, and the more chance you have of being found attractive.
