Top 11 turnons - as voted by you
I’ve carried out a huge amount of research lately to fid out exactly what are the biggest turnons for both boys and gals. It aint easy believe me as men truly seem to be from Mars and women from Venus!
Funnily enough, looks rarely come into the equation. Obviously its important to have a physical attraction, but sometimes this comes later. Not one person ut of the 50 I asked brought up ‘looks’ – that’s gotta tell you something.
Its difficult to generalise as well as everyone is different, so here goes, my official guide to what turns you lot on – in no particular order:
Sense of Humour
Crucial to have. Without one you are boring and no-one wants to be around you. If you struggle to have one try relaxing with life and stop taking it so seriously. Popular people, no matter what they look like have the ability to keep an audience entertained. This is a sign of confidence and being happy with life.
Listening Ability
We human beings are sensitive folk. We often face the trials and tribulations of life and therefore appreciate a shoulder to cry on now and again. Having the ability to listen to other people rather than be filled with self importance is crucial for attraction in many of your eyes.
Fashion Sense
No matter what you look like physically, if you wear suitable fashions you can be entirely attractive. I’m not talking expensive designer clothes, but I a talking about you needing to wear clothing that suits your shape and colour, and that flatters you. Smile
A truly natural smile will melt hearts! Check out my article on smiling, it explains about all the different types of smiles. We have so many muscles in our face and therefore loads of different smiles that mean different things – however we just seem to know when someone throws a natural smile at us and it does wonders.
Smell
This is great if you get it right and disastrous if you get it wrong! Don’t be pulled in with cheap scents, they are gross and do you no favours at all. Look for advice when choosing a scent and what suits you, perfumeries are trained experts in smell so trust their judgement here. If you are given a scent don’t splash it on just because it’s there! Another tip is to find an unusual scent that suits you and go for that. An irresistible scent makes you irresistible. One last thing, don’t hoon it on, too much is a turn off of any scent!
Voice
Bit of an unexpected one this one but certainly something the majority of you all picked up on. We’ve all heard the sexy voices before (especially on mobile phone network voice messages) and they can be a real turnon. I recommend you try speaking quietly, as this presents a relaxed attitude. Obnoxious voices are hugely annoying so try to calm it if this sounds like you!
Flirting
There are different degrees of flirting behaviour. Get it right and you will be irresistible – try to build some mystery with a potential partner and this will make you irresistible. What you are actually doing when flirting is subconsciously letting you know that your partner is sexy and there is an interest. Whatever you do don’t flirt with people you have no interest in; you will make a rod for your own back and attract their unwanted attention. Intelligence
This ranks relatively high according in attractiveness. Present your opinions on interesting subjects and present your intelligence. I’m not talking mathematical equations, but I am talking current affairs and general knowledge. Don’t whatever you do try to blag though – you will end up looking stupid!
Compliments
More important for fellas to give to women than vice versa funnily enough. Maybe its because women tend to be more self conscious. A little “you look great” or “you smell amazing” goes a long way. Blokes also like to feel they have been accepted so ladies should remember to say things like “I like your t-shirt” and such like.
50/50
This is a bit of a bone of contention according to you lot. Some of you say that men should cover the bill and others say it should be ‘Dutch’. My advice is that in the early stages of dating you men should be willing to cover the bill, but if a lady insists it is shared, let that be the case. Successful couples have a major thing in common, they share everything 50/50, but saying that – it’s whatever works for you!
Manners

Smell is the most important for me. Boys… throw away that Brut and Old Spice (and you know you wear it), and wear something that makes us ladies want to ravish you!
